Ann Silver met Casey Jones at Queen Anne’s Kiddieland in the summer of 1963. Casey regularly appeared at the park, meeting with kids and driving them on the train.
Ann posted on Facebook, “Here is is me with Casey Jones, when I was 5, at Queen Anne Kiddieland in 1963! This was so exciting for me to get my photo with him. I was 5 and very friendly, so maybe I was the one that asked him to do this.”
She also told me, “We all loved Casey,,, I was SO happy to see Casey there in person, wow, and that he would be in a photo with me. Pretty wonderful moment.”
